Woolly Sweaters is hosting a Halloween arts and craft night to raise money for New Avenues for Youth, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. The goal of the evening is to let your inner child play, color, and craft, while also giving back to the community. Tickets will be $10 at the door with 100% of ticket sales going directly to New Avenues. We hope to curate a stress-free evening, so arts and crafts supplies, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks, and spooky vibes will all be provided for free! 

We will also be joined by Small Field, a pop-rock, dark-tinged indie group, and Complimentary Colors, a cute, queer folk group. Both are located here in Portland and are just as excited as we are to make a night of community magic happen! Hope to see you there!

The Long After

Contemporary Singer-Songwriter Chris Rentzel brings his style of tonal honesty to his full-length album, The Long After. Collaborating with members of the Oregon Symphony, Chris composes piano and strings to blend with heartfelt, anecdotal and sometimes playful lyrics. Drawing from a lifetime of experience living in Dallas, Denver and the PNW, The Long After takes his experience and juxtaposes it with what happens next. To be clear, the album does not necessarily ponder what comes in death, but more importantly—what happens in life.

Join Jasper of Foliage Beats for a chill evening of creating collages and zines at ADX! As you create, the stage will be open for an open mic night featuring local creatives.

Collage Workshop + Open Mic is a free, hands on night of making art and making music at ADX Portland. We’ll have piles of magazines, paper, scissors, glue, and other collage supplies ready for you. Come cut, paste, and make something while local musicians, beatmakers, DJs, and producers create the soundtrack live in an open mic format.
