Have you ever been curious about making your own woodblock prints? Join us for this simple introduction to relief printmaking where we will briefly look at examples of relief printmaking works, demonstrate some craving techniques, carve a small woodblock, and print our blocks together. Minimum 2 students; maximum 12 students.
All materials will be supplied. Small materials fee for supplies included in class fee.
Artist Bio
Wolfe is a queer and nonbinary artist working primarily in painting and printmaking mediums. They have lived in Portland, Oregon for over seven years. Born in Pennsylvania and raised in South Carolina, Wolfe has lived in various cities across the States before settling in the lush corner of the Pacific Northwest. Wolfe’s artwork is represented year-round at Alberta Street Gallery, where they are a co-operative member and the currently elected Gallery Coordinator.
